I've got the weekend blues. Which is really an oxymoron because the weekend is suppose to be funfilled, exciting and without work or care. But, my Matt-face boyfriend is working over the weekend and it gives me the blues because I will see him less than I would like. Luckily, I have my Baby that I am going to see tonight and that cheers me up more than a little.
I wish that I had fanciful and exciting plans this weekend, but I don't. Hopefully, it will be better than last weekend when I rode the ski lift. Gotta say, I don't much care for ski lifts. Now I understand why I never learned to ski.
The parents are out of town too, so I can't even look forward to Sunday dinner at their house, which I was looking forward to because I have been in like three weeks and I miss the fam. Especially the marrieds that I only get to see at that time. I think I will soon forget what Norm and Rand look like because it has been so long since I have seen them.
Additionally, I put my big, beautiful, 27inch flat screen in the livingroom of my condo, which gives me the blues because I liked being able to go into my room to watch tv. The wonderful, beautiful Kelli lent me her bitty tv to put in my room, but, for reasons unknown, it won't recognize the cable channels, only the first 14 channels. Which means it leaves out channel 15, the favorite of all the channels.
And so, I have the weekend blues.
Oh, and it is Friday the 13th... fear impending death and doom.

I'm sorry you have the weekend blues babes. Why did you put your tv in the livingroom anyway? If I were you I would have kept it in my room... I'd give you mine, but with Jake and Jill moving in at some unknown time I require it so that I may never have to leave the comfort of my room...which shall have a locked door. The 13th you say?! Fantasmagorical! I get sweet moola today :D
Tv went into the livingroom because Jade moved her tv out of the livingroom and put it in her room. She is very very protective of her tv and has been saying that she would move it for a while now. I'm glad to have her tv out of the livingroom though because she was just too darn protective of that thing. I had to ask permission before I could watch it. Lame much?
Yeah, I heard about that Jake and Jill moving in thing. I don't know how they are planning to do that with all their children in tow. I don't see why they don't wait to sell their house. That would make it easier to move consecutively while moving into their new house.
Oh well, they must have things figured out.
Yeah, I already tried doing that, but thanks for the tip Sigma.
Wait a minute...Mike stole the Parents...and Jake and Jill are moving in....what???? Has the entire world gone crazy-go-nuts in my absense??!?!?!
And as far as your little weekend blues Beckster, I'll tell you what you can do with them as soon as I finish making an entire presentation for my english class, writing a huge process paper, writing a research grant proposal, reading 5 chapters from my science textbooks, reviewing three scientific publications, updating the entire ward list of callings (being a clerk is teh suck) and doing 8 hours of physics homework.
Of course, this whole TV dilemma probably carries the same amount of stress for you, I know how much you live for that thing. So here comes my sympathy. Ready? Here it comes....
Oh good, cuz it turns out I misplaced mine. I think I must've left it at Becky's graduation or something. Got any to spare?
