Last night I went into Nicole's room after we put her down for bed to check on her. She was still awake.
She said, "Hold me mama."
So I sat on her bed, and picked her up and she wiggled until I had her in a craddle hold. Like I held her when she was a little baby. And then I rocked her back and forth and she closed her eyes.
Then, with her eyes still closed, she said, "Sing me a song?" So I sang her the lullaby I used to sing her as a baby.
When I finished I said, "I love you Nicole." And she said, "I love you mama." And it was perfect.
I went back to my room and picked up my sweet boy who was wide awake in his crib. I laid him on the bed next to me so that I could nurse him. He immediately latched and started eating. Then, he unlatched, looked up at me and got a huge grin on his face and said, "Agheeee." Then, he latched again, and ate until he fell asleep. And it was perfect.

That is the sweetest thing I've ever heard! Two perfect kids for one moment.
